Paul started out in recruitment almost 20 years ago, initially as a contingent recruiter, working with some of the most successful recruitment consultancies in Scotland - Melville Craig, Search Consultancy and Eden Scott. 

In 2007, Paul joined the Resourcing team at SSE with responsibility for leading a team of corporate recruiters, developing their direct sourcing strategies and employer branding.  Paul was integral to the development of an internal consultancy resourcing model, enabling the business to engage and recruit talent across the Renewables, Networks and Corporate business areas.

In 2014 Paul joined the Doosan Babcock, a specialist in the delivery of engineering, aftermarket and upgrade services to the energy sector.  With Paul’s leadership, the Doosan Babcock recruitment team won a number of awards for their innovative approach to talent acquisition and their focus on delivery in an extremely competitive market.  Paul has led a Global HRIS ATS project, Graduate recruitment, Outplacement for over 400 employees and a best in class Onboarding solution.
